# CLI 0.0.4-microsoft-preview.42

Microsoft migration engine preview. Stable `latest` remains 0.0.3.

## Deterministic discovery correction continuation

- Retains the best fully validated but incomplete component/architecture
  correction in memory, bound to the exact correction revision, stored
  architecture, and canonical corrected-component signature.
- Adds a small `architectureMermaidAppend` continuation so the model can supply
  only the remaining declarations and source-grounded directed edges instead
  of replaying a large diagram and losing verified progress.
- Separately reports missing declarations and already-declared isolated nodes;
  continuation scope rejects unknown IDs, redeclarations, unrelated or self
  edges, styling, subgraphs, directives, and Markdown fences.
- Forces the retained continuation once it exists and blocks message flow,
  gaps, patterns, dependencies, finalization, and other discovery writes until
  the exact component correction resolves. An explicitly stale stored
  architecture can still establish a new architecture/component revision.
- Reruns the unchanged component schema, parser/source evidence, transport,
  Mermaid grammar, append-only scope, declaration, and execution-flow checks
  before committing components plus architecture through the existing atomic
  paired store. Partial candidates never reach disk and the host invents no
  graph edges.
- Retains preview.41's parser-authoritative transport-association repair and
  preview.40's atomic grouped/ungrouped reconciliation.

The fresh preview.41 qualification reached a safe near-complete correction with
only `BT_ENDPOINT_015` unresolved. The model then lost that candidate, switched
briefly to message-flow authoring, corrupted one full-diagram replay, and
finally repeated the original 79-ID gap through calls 23 to 26. The host
rejected every attempt without changing the stored component/architecture pair
and stopped without claiming migration success. Preview.42 preserves that
validated progress and makes the only permitted next write a bounded Mermaid
continuation rather than increasing call limits or weakening evidence checks.

## Verification and limits

- 201 Microsoft migration-core tests, 257 CLI tests, and 30
  release/installer/documentation tests pass. The VS Code extension has 24
  passing tests and one expected pending POSIX-permission test on Windows;
  repository lint, TypeScript compilation, and production builds pass.
- Regression coverage includes the exact near-complete-to-small-continuation
  flow, mandatory correction continuity, declaration-only then edge-only
  progress, unsafe continuation rejection, blocked message-flow diversion,
  stale-revision rebase, and unchanged atomic persistence.
- The failed preview.41 evidence remains under
  `failure-evidence/2026-09-22T12-25-33-preview41-discovery-mermaid-correction-loop`
  in the test workspace.
- A complete fresh FINACCONT2024Backup-BT migration with preview.42 remains a
  post-publication qualification step.
- This preview does not claim an Azure deployment, deployed Logic Apps runtime
  test, or business equivalence.

## PowerShell update

```powershell
Invoke-WebRequest 'https://tools.lambogenius.com/lambogenius-integration-migration/0.0.4-microsoft-preview.42/install-cli.ps1' -OutFile install-cli-preview42.ps1
# Review the downloaded script before running it.
& .\install-cli-preview42.ps1 -SkipDependencies
li.cmd --version
```

Expected version: `0.0.4-microsoft-preview.42`. This preview is not promoted to
the stable `latest` alias. Preserve existing reports and generated output before
upgrading. Use a fresh generated workspace because the Microsoft engine
fingerprint changed; do not edit fingerprint records to force checkpoint reuse.
Installation does not reset license counters.
